About Uncooked

Uncooked is a hiring platform that replaces CVs and self-reported credentials with verifiable proof of ability. We use proprietary data to help startups hire pre-vetted talent, and help young people access better opportunities.

We're on a mission to help 1 million young people access meaningful opportunities by 2030.

We started Uncooked because we went through the job search ourselves. The ghosting. The silence. Watching people with the right connections walk into roles while talented people got filtered out by university names and polished CVs. We built what we wish existed.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. Through Uncooked Labs, we bring together students, graduates, builders, and engineers pursuing startup careers. There are plenty of communities for software people. Almost nothing exists for those who want to build hardware, engineer systems, make robots, or launch rockets. We're building the space for everyone else.

We've hosted sold-out events with 400+ attendees at King's College London featuring speakers from Shadow Robot, ARIA, and ex-Dyson. We've partnered with organisations at Cambridge to host an exclusive YC session, and are expanding events across 6 UK cities.
